Gulf Breeze Consulting, Inc. is now located in downtown Pensacola at 25 West Cedar Street, Suite 440. The principals of Gulf Breeze Consulting are Daniel Nye and Andrew Heitman who together possessover twenty-five years of experience in the building design and construction industry. They have a unique and varied background as both have worked not only for well respected local consulting engineering firms
but also quality HVAC equipment sales representative companies.
Mr. Nye practiced engineering at Schmidt Dell Associates for many years and has worked on a wide range of commercial, military, school and high-density residential projects. In 2002 he helped form
the equipment sales division of Air Tech of Pensacola specializing in equipment sales and application engineering. He represented several outside air unit and specialty dehumidification equipment
manufacturers gaining extensive knowledge of equipment design. In 2003 he formed Gulf Breeze Consulting, Inc while continuing to work full time at Air Tech of Pensacola. Gulf Breeze Consulting
became a full time concern in 2007 with Andy Heitman joining as a partner.
Mr. Heitman began his career in the building construction industry with hands-on experience working for a mechanical contractor while still in school. After graduating with a mechanical engineering
degree, he worked as a sales engineer at Dowdy & Associates representing equipment utilized in chilled and hot water HVAC systems. He began his consulting engineering career at CDC Engineers’ Pensacola
office prior to being involved in the formation of Premier Engineering Group. While working at Premier Engineering he became a junior partner in 2004 and continued to gain invaluable experience in varied
engineering projects as well as aspects of managing a consulting engineering company.
